Intelligent RFID Technology Application on Edge computing
Abstract:With the rapid development of RFID technology, edge computing is a distributed computing architecture that moves applications, data collection and services from the central node of the network to the edge nodes of the network logic. The edge operation will be completely decomposed by the central node processing large services, cut into smaller and easier to manage parts, and distributed to the edge nodes for processing.
In this research, an intelligent RFID technology application on edge computing was proposed, which include a comprehensive solution for industry 4.0 and intelligent Logistics. Meanwhile, this mechanism also deploys cloud-based system, RFID as infrastructure to setup integrated information system.
The result of this research may improve the current RFID monitoring method for intelligent Logistics, the node is closer to the user terminal device, which can speed up the processing and transmission of data and reduce the delay. Under this architecture, data analysis and knowledge generation are closer to the source of data collection, so it is more suitable for processing big data.
