Call for Posters and Demos
The 15th IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Cluster, Cloud and Grid Computing, 2015 (CCGrid) provides a forum for both academia and industry professionals to present their latest research findings in all aspects of cluster, cloud, and grid technologies in the form of a poster or demo, both of which will be included in the conference proceedings. Posters and demos will be presented during the same session, during the conference. Additionally, authors may submit posters for publication on the web.
SUBMISSION
Posters can be submitted through https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ccgrid2015. Submissions must be received by Januray 30, 2015 (extended to February 6, see below for other important dates).
See “Types of Posters” below for details on the exact materials that authors must submit to be considered for the conference’s poster/demo session.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
The topics of interest are the same as in the Call for Papers.TYPES OF POSTERS
Participants submitting proceedings-published papers/demos are required to submit a short paper, 4 pages, describing the content, the research supporting it, and the relevance and importance to the cluster, cloud, and grid computing community. If accepted, this short paper will be published in the proceedings of the conference.
Participants submitting web-published papers are required to submit a short 1-page extended abstract. These abstracts will not be included in the conference proceedings.
Upon acceptance, you will prepare a poster (be it proceedings-published or web-published) to be displayed at the conference along with any demo you would like to showcase. All accepted posters will be posted on the conference website.
POSTER PRESENTATION
The authors of selected posters will be allotted short speaking slots to present their work at the CCGrid Poster Session. The students will also present their posters and talk one-on-one with the attendees in the poster exhibition session. Please bring a poster of recommended size A1 (594mm by 841mm, portrait) to the venue.
BEST POSTER AWARD
This year CCGrid will be offering an award recognizing the best research poster presented at the conference. During the poster session your poster will be reviewed by a judging panel selected from the conference organizing and program committee. Your poster will be judged based on the novelty, quality of research undertaken and clarity of presentation. The Best Poster will receive $200.
TRAVEL AWARDS
A number of student travel awards, pending on US NSF final approval, will be available for attendees of posters and demos.
